In 2004 Microsoft® released Windows XP Operating system to OEM system builders and the general public. So far XP has been fairly stable on New Systems, but not if you have an old system and want to upgrade to XP. At this point if have an older system we suggest you stay with Windows 98SR2 or 2000. Make sure you download the newest service packs for XP from Microsoft's upgrade site.
